Dead and Gone is in da haus.

(I hate myself a little for the headline on this post xD)
As I said on the last post, we were planning on getting rats when we had moved out. Now we have moved out, AND we've got rats.
I don't really have that much more to write, so I end it here with a picture of Gone:

Moving out this friday.

A month ago we got a apartment, and have been waiting till the date when we could move in. Now that date is in just a few days, and we haven't packet at all yet. Or, I did some packing just now, but there's still much we need to do.

And as we're moving out, money-saving is a bigger part of our everyday than it... well, it already is. I have for example colored my hair black, so that I won't have to bleach my roots almost every second week. It kind of sucks a little, as I can't color my whole hair purple again (I don't know if I wrote about my purple hair in my blog (yeah, that's how often I check and remember my own blog).. Anyway, I loved it, and I'm gonna miss it like hell). I have also decided to try and get a grip on that God damn bicycle. I do know how to ride a bicycle and all, but it is just hard for me to keep control over the bicycle and all the things around me. Especially as I am waaay out of training, as I haven't been riding bicycles since I fell pretty badly in 2005 (I think i was that in 2005. I was 13 years old for sure). I have, after that, on purpose been avoiding bicycles, but now I'm gonna start using one to save money on the bus and trains.

We have also decided to have 2 rats, and we're gonna mane them Dead and Gone. The reason for the names are one of the songs on The 69 Eyes newest album. The Song is called Dead and Gone, and in the verse the sing those words the same way the Chip and Dale verse (If you haven't hear any of those songs, you can hear the Chip and Dale song here, and the Dead and Gone song here).

ehm... Peter is not gay

I find it funny that 10 people have searched for "Peter Murphy boyfriends", and found my blog....

He has a wife and kids, God dammit.

Totentanz (7. Apr. 2012)

So, I have been so bad at writing in my blog lately, but today I decided to get myself together.

So, last Friday "The Germans" came to Denmark (when saying "The Germans" I'm talking about the members of Tanzkommando Untergang). The went to some friends house, where they were supposed to stay, around 9 in the morning, and well.... They were served alcohol. So when I and my boyfriend came over to where they were, they were already shitfaced drunk. Thinking about that, it was ok easy to get them to the youth house in Hillerød, where "The Germans" were supposed to play the first concert. And well.... They played good that night, considering the fact that they were drunk. Especially the drummer, which lost his drumstick like 8 times during the concert.

Now, the day after this, Tanzkomando was playing at Totentanz, with Still Lifes as warm up. I remember both bands to play good this night. Even if I only remember the half (or less) of Tanzkomandos concert form this night. This time it was my turn to get damn drunk. But I can for sure say that I had fun.

Busy weekend

After new years eve we had a little problem with almost nothing happening, so we were a lot at home, until last weekend. Friday we had our monthly Punks Undead (though, there were no Punks Undead in January). Was really nice this time (when is it not nice?). Cannot remember all of the bands names, but I do remember that one of them were super good compared to my expectations (I think they were called P.I.S.).

Saturday we went to Black Cat Birthday Carnival. I dressed up as a cat (did it differently that how I did it to the Golem Halloween, so I am sad I have no picture). Have a lot of fun memories from that night. For example the guy coming on to me, and when I showed him my boyfriend, he said my boyfriend looked gay. That might be, but he is still together with the girl you were hitting on, so maybe you should steal some ideas?
There were also a live band called Grooving in Green. They were really good, and wow how cute weren't the members. Not the kind of oh-I-want-to-marry-you-cute, but you-look-like-a-teddy-cute.

Then, Sunday my boyfriend had his birthday. All normal birthday celebration with his family. We were hangover, though.

Do I look like a homeless?

So, yesterday I and my boyfriend were in another town to see a punk show. Well, there were cheap alcohol, so I don't remember much from it. Though, I do remember I had a lot of fun, so I am sure it was good.

But to the point of this post: When we were going home, we came to the station 30 minutse or so before the train came, so we sat down at the floor. Suddenly a guy threw a coin to us. I said to him that he didn't need to, as we had money, and were not homeless or something like that. He demanded us to take his money. Well, why not? After a little while he came back, and did the same. A little group of people gathered to throw money for us. We kept on telling them to stop, as we were not in need of money. Then they put the money nicely on the floor in front of us, and when we took it, they were screaming "oh see, see, they are taking it!". So for some reason it was fun, and this was a way to mock us. A nice way to do it, I would say, as we earned like 30 kr on it.

The Cat With The Tie

Since the middle of this summer, our cat, Nevermore, had a new cat friend, which we called the cat with the tie. They would play around together in the garden, and at some point she came in to our house. Actually we didn't mind her, but our little girl cat, Lenore, didn't like her at all. Be cause of that, we chased her out, but she just kept on coming back. And therefore we just decided to let her come. In fact, I started to cuddle her (and she's super cute, with the most pathetic voice in the word).

Now, a week or two ago when she was at our place, we went over to the people we thought owned her to say that she was here. They said that it was not possible, as their cat was just in the sofa sleeping at their place. We were quite puzzled by this, and started thinking she was a homeless cat. And if so, we would keep her.
So, one day when my mother in law came home from work, one of our neighbors started talking about her cats weird behavior. She was gone more that usual, and she didn't eat at all, almost, but even if so, she gained weight. Funnily enough, the cat with the tie was at our place at this time, so we invited the lady over. She sees the cat and says "My, you naughty cat". Luckily the lady didn't mind that My came over to us once in a while. In fact, she's just happy her little cat is not ill, as she thought.

Punks Undead Vol. 22 (9. des. 2011)

This Punks Undead was special. Or, at least I think so, as some of our friends had their debut concert (Shock Tilstand). I had set my expectations very low for them, which I had my reasons for. First of all, they had only existed for a few months. Also, the drummer had said to us that he would never pay to see his band, but he loved to play in it, as it was loads of fun. Thinking about that, they were surprisingly good!

There were also a band form Israel (Special Education), so this was the second time with a band from far away. I am not actually that much into the genre to be honest (same with Shock Tilstand), but they were actually really good. What I liked about them was how they had mixed the female and the male vocals, and that gave some really good effects.

Now comes the embarrassing part. There were two more bands (The Grumpynators and No Go Girls) and I honestly don't remember a shit from it.....

Peter Hook (30. now. 2011) and Melting Walkmen, City Kill and Radio Saigon (1. des. 2011)

Now, we have been to the last prepaid concert. Peter Hook from Joy Division played here in the town i live in, and of course, we had been planning to go for long, even if we were afraid it would suck. It was actually a good concert I have to say. But even if so, I had a little hard time enjoying it cos of the audience. So many people should be happy I am as shy as I am. Cos if not, they would have left the place with a blue eye. God damn, have people ever heard of respect? I was actually about to hit a girl, but I stopped in the last second. And I have to say, it takes a lot for me to go that far.

The day after we went to see three really good bands in one evening, and at two different venues (now that was stressful). We started in Bakken, seeing Melting Walkmen playing at a birthday. And well, at that birthday we got free beers, so we were happy. When they were done playing, we and a lot of other people ran to KB18, and there it didn't take long before City Kill went on stage.

While City Kill played I went to where the records and such were to be sold. It was the singer form Radio Saigon selling the things, and he said to me that we could get his record for 20KR, as he had seen us around for many of the shows with City kill, Melting Walkmen and Chainsaw Eaters. Of course I bought it. The other would be stupid.

A little after that, Radio Saigon played their concert, and I am so pleasantly surprised by them. I had seen them before, where I didn't like them that much, but they were awesome this time.

Sort Sol (24. now. 2011) and Ice Age (25. now. 2011)

So, two days ago I saw Sort Sol again (now I am suddenly not that sad about not seeing them in Tivoli). This time, so close to where I live, that it was almost next door.

Unlike last time (in KB Hallen), I actually knew most of the songs this time, which was of core very nice as I managed to follow the concert a little better (that said, I did enjoy it in KB Hallen as well).

The good thing about seeing them this time, was that now, as they have preformed for a while, they maybe dared to let the mind go for it self, if I can say so. They preformed a little more, I think. They also had a new set-list, so I didn't see all the same over again. Not that I would mind that, but anyway, it was nice.

The backup guitarist (that had played 7 concerts with a broken finger and a hurting shoulder. Impressive) called "The Adam" came up to me and my boyfriend after the concert to politely give us his towel and guitar pick.

(Ehm, don't mind the video, as it is overly cheesy. And well, the outfit and the hair is a joke on many bands from the 80's. But this song is awesome!)

Yesterday we went to hear a speech by Jan Poulsen and Marin Hall, for then to see Ice Age play a concert. Both the speeches were about punk back in the 70-80's (I actually don't know which years for sure, as the danish number system is a little hard to get used to). Was interesting to listen to both of them. Ice Age also played very good this time in my opinion. I had seen them once before, where I was not at all impressed, but this time they were good I think. Also, the fact that they were playing in a library made it a little more interesting in some way.

Long time no see

It's been a while since I've been writing here now, and a lot have happened. I have for example been at a speech by Martin Hall, which was interesting, even if he was talking in Danish, which I have a hard time understanding. Well, I understood most, actually.

The day after we went to a VNV Nation concert. If I'm gonna be honest, I have to say it sucked. I had been expecting some good varied techno, with good melodies. Nah, it was all "mh tss mh tss mh tss DANCE DANCE DANCE". The lead singer was actually pointing at the people in the audience that were not dancing, telling them to dance. I hate to dance at concerts, and I especially hate to dance on command. But oh well, this was one of those concert where people were supposed to get drunk, dance and go wild. Sorry, but not for me.

The day after that again, there were yet another Punks Undead. Vol. 21 this time, of course. Can't really remember which bands were playing this time, but I do remember that it was a really good night. Well, Punks Undead are always good!

Later we saw State Of Mind, Polyfon and Melting Walkmen at Rust. The first two bands were good, though I wouldn't buy their music, as it's not exactly what I would listen to. Melting Walkmen really surprised me, actually. I have seen them live before, and heard them a lot on record, and always had this "meh" feeling about them. But when they played at Rust, they were really good!

And the last thing I can remember doing since last time is Golems Halloween party this weekend, where my boyfriend was DJing. As I was DEAD tired I didn't get a lot out of it. But what I did get out of it was nice.

Peter Murphy (29. oct. 2011)

We had for long had this ticket for a Peter Murphy concert (that took place just a few hours ago), and as I was a little hangover from yesterdays Halloween party, I weren't completely sure if I wanted to go or not. But In the end I decided to go (Which I am now very happy for).

So, we managed to get one of the best spots, in front of the stage. First of all, the concert - it was great. They played good, and they had some kind of humor between the songs aswel, that made it easy to relate to the people in a way.
Then. This thing with the humor. At some point in the concert, after one of the songs, Peter starts talking to me and my boyfriend. Unfortunately, the vocals (or talking) is a little hard to hear when standing in front of the stage, but he said something about wanting the two of us showered, dried and then covered in oil (relax people, it was a joke) in his backstage room after the concert. This was early in the concert. Almost at the end, he said to us (without using the microphone) "you two, back afterwards". We were really confused, and didn't know if we miss heard or what, but when the concert was over, we decided to just wait a little, to be sure. Sitting there for a while we suddenly see a head (Peter) popping up on stage for a few tiny seconds, and half a minute after that the roadie came to us. He had a really serious attitude, and took himself a moment before he said anything to us. I almost thought someone had died or something like that. "Peter would like to see the both of you. Are you ok with that?". Yes of course! who the hell would say no to that? So, we met the guy, talked a for a little while, for then to get our friends backstage. Then, we ended up sitting there, talking to all the members of the band (especially Peter) for about two hours. And I just have to say, Peter (having been such a big name in the goth scene for so long) was a extremely nice guy!

Karina, Peter and me.

Black Cat Halloween (28. Oct. 2011)

So yesterday we went to a Halloween party, which I had been looking forward to for so long! First of all cos I really like to dress up, but also cos I love to see how creative people can be. There were so many great costumes. And as always here in this country, I meet people with a smile on their face that are so open to start a conversation. Lucky me, Golem is gonna have a Halloween party too, where my boyfriend have been asked to DJ. Meaning I will have one more chance to dress up.

Punks Undead Vol. 20 - 2 year birthday (14. oct. 2011)

This one maybe comes a little late, but that is better than never!
Last Friday was yet another Punks Undead, and I would say this is one to be remembered. First of all, we had a band from China (Gum Bleed) (whit lyrics like "I'm such a lonely boy, oi"). There have never been a band from a country that far away. We also had a band from Denmark (Teknisk Uheld) and two Swedish bands (Beyond Pink and Suicide Syndicate).

This night we were actually supposed to have a zombie theme, as it was the 2 year birthday for the arrangement. But the only ones following up on that were me and my boyfriend, which we got a few comments on. Both at the arrangement and on our way to and home from it. Kind of funny. Though there was a guy that really wanted to fight with us on our way home. Nothing bad happened, and we learned that the best you can do in such a situation is to leave before it gets bad.

Also, someone stole my jacket that night. Most likely to see if I had a awesome phone or iPod, which I didn't have. At least I found my jacket in the opposite end of the room, so my night wasn't ruined after all.

Negative Concert (7.oct.2011)

(All picture in this post are taken by Lena Christina)

You know, we all have this band we start listening to when we are young, and they inspire you so much, that they take a big part of how you create your identity. And even if you change what your favorite genre, you still like this band. For me, that band is Negative. I have been a fan since I was 13, and I am now 20. And yesterday, was my first time ever to see them play a concert live. I feels like my life is complete, and now I can die in peace.

Well, actually I had seen hem live once before. But that was an acoustic concert for  kindergarten, where I somehow managed to come, even if fans weren't supposed to. That time it was the lead singer and the reminding guitarist, which is now also out of the band. This of course means, that the guitarist I saw yesterday was new. And well, he was very good, in my opinion!

(Gotta love Anttis "Nobody knows I'm, a lesbian" t-shirt)

After the concert, we went to a pub for after party (and to wait at a nice place, as we had to wait many hours for the next train). There we met so many nice people (which made me want to go back to Vordingborg sometime). I also got to talk to some of the members from Negative and Lagerloudz (the warm up), which were such nice people (thought, I think they found me to be damn annoying).

After some time, we went to the train station. On our way, we were talking about the night, and agreeing that it was pretty close to perfect -seeing a a good and well played concert, for then, as I said, talk to so many nice people.
